About Addicted To Profits

DaveDave Skarica is an investment wunderkind; at the age of 18, he became the youngest person on record to pass the Canadian Securities Course.  Just a year later, he launched his first advisory service, Addicted to Profits, which was ranked fifth (out of 300 financial newsletters) in overall performance by StockFocus.com.  In 1999 Dave published his first book, STOCK MARKET PANIC! How to Prosper in the Coming Bear Market. This book provides thought provoking arguments on why the great bull market will end in the most vicious bear market of all time.  Today, he is an authority on investment strategies and is the Guru of the resource sector of the industry.

Mr. Skarica lives by the philosophies of Sir John Templeton and George Soros in that he looks for the “point of maximum pessimism.”  Dave also believes, as Mr. Soros would say, “markets are reflexive in nature;” meaning that they over shoot to the up and downsides.  He prides himself on honest research and his innate ability to accurately predict the rhythm of market flow.

Dave has been a contributing editor to Financial Intelligence Report, Moneynews.com, Canadian MoneySaver and Investors Digest of Canada.  He is a contributor to TimingWallStreet.com and Kitco, and has been quoted by many of the major financial media, including CNBC, Barron’s, The Dick Davis Digest, and The Bull and Bear Financial Report.  Mr. Skarica is a consultant to mining companies and offers personal consultations in addition to subscription to his Addicted to Profits newsletter.
